Dillon Chapman

Dillon Chapman (b. 1995) is a Southern California-based artist who investigates notions of self as subject/object. Drawing from personal and cultural archives, her practice contemplates intimacy, desire, and relations of power through writing and filmmaking. Chapman holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Southern Methodist University and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, San Diego. Her work has been included in exhibitions, screenings, performances, and publications, both nationally and internationally, in venues including the Women’s Center for Creative Work (Los Angeles), Czong Institute of Contemporary Art (CICA, Korea), RAIZVANGUARDA Associação Cultural (Boidero, Portugal), Altes Finanzamt (Berlin), and CURA.
